Current Initiatives

• Entrepreneurship Fair (Business Plan Competition for scholarships)
• Entrepreneurship Club established Fall 2006
  (currently exploring Junior Enterprise program which would be first in United States)
• Courses: Entrepreneurship, e-business, Entrepreneurial Finance
• Collaboration with SET on Learning Community
• Social Entrepreneurship: Campus Kitchen (active learning)
• Partnership with SBDC

Targeted Results on June 30, 2008

• Curriculum in place for Fall 2008, possible certificate program
• Advisory Board established (met at least three times)
• Host businesses identified and on board ready to engage students
• First cohort of Learning Community students
• Executive Lecture Series in place
• Mentors identified
• Identify national and international travel opportunities and partnerships
• Initial research data collected for faculty
